Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast at Relay for Life
October 3-4, 2009 marks the dates of this year’s annual Relay for Life walk at Adolpho Camarillo High School. The Kiwanis Club of Camarillo will once again provide our traditional pancake breakfast for Relay for Life walkers the morning of Sunday, October 4.
Kiwanis volunteers are needed to help with set-up and take-down. We need extra hands Sunday morning to cook and serve breakfast to over 300 walkers.
If you are able to volunteer even just an hour or two of your time for this event, please email Allen Grizzard-Paul at allengrizzard@msn.com.
If you are not currently a member of Kiwanis and are interested in helping out with this event, please email us at online@kiwanisclubofcamarillo.com.
Donate Your Old Christmas Cards

Please donate your old Christmas card fronts
The Community Advisory Committee of the Ventura Youth Correctional Facility is collecting old Christmas card fronts so that the youth can recycle them to make their own Christmas cards. If you have any old Christmas card fronts to donate, please contact Anne Zachry at online@kiwanisclubofcamarillo.com or through our Facebook group.
Kiwanis Hospital Dolls Project
The Kiwanis Club of Camarillo received a notice from the Cal-Nev-Ha Foundation regarding its Kiwanis Hospital Doll Project, asking clubs to contact their local hospitals to introduce the program and coordinate amongst the members and/or local sewing clubs to make the dolls, which are then donated to the hospital.
