Kiwanis Club Of Camarillo

For the last 31 years, the Kiwanis Club of Camarillo has held the George M. Thayer Scholarship Fund 5K/10K Run.  This race raises thousands of dollars every year which is used to fund scholarships to qualifying Camarillo high school graduates going on to college.

Every year, with the exception of the 2009 race, we’ve produced a program for the event and sold advertising to local businesses.  Last year, we added online advertising on our web site.  This year, we will be providing both print and online advertising opportunities for local businesses.

Advertising revenue from our event program goes towards the costs of the event and scholarship funds, as do the event fees charged to runners.  Local businesses enjoy the exposure they receive in our program, as well, which is viewed by hundreds of runners and others involved in the race.
