Kiwanis Club Of Camarillo

The 31st Annual George M. Thayer 5K/10K Run will be held on April 4, 2009 beginning at 6:30am.  The purpose of this race is to not only provide a great event for our runners, but to raise funds for the George M. Thayer Scholarship Fund, which provide college scholarships to eligible high school seniors from Camarillo. 

The George M. Thayer Scholarship Fund is one of the many community service projects that the Kiwanis Club of Camarillo sponsors and coordinates for the benefit of Camarillo.  Runners are encouraged to pre-register online or download a PDF of our race registration and submit it with your registration fees by mail.  The remittance address is on the PDF form.

This is a spectacular running event that has become a community mainstay for 31 years, now.  Your participation as a runner, your sponsorship as an advertiser, your cheering on of the race participants, or your time as a volunteer is welcome.  For more information on advertising sponsorships, call Bob Gaboury at 805-389-0347.
