End of Year DCM
Throughout the program year, which runs October to September, Division Council Meetings (“DCMs”) are held throughout the Division by different local Kiwanis Clubs. Members of these clubs attend the DCMs to hear about Division-level activities that are taking place, to support each other’s community service efforts, to share information and resources, and to enjoy each other’s company. It has become a tradition in Division 42, to which the Camarillo Club belongs, to hold its last DCM of the program year in Carpinteria, hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Carpinteria. Every year, it is looked forward to by Kiwanians throughout the Division.
This year, Carpinteria Kiwanians are again hosting the last DCM of the year at the lovely Island View Nursery. (Click here for a PDF flyer.) Kiwanis Club members are invited to dine in this incredible venue as we attend to end of the year business for the Division and learn more about Lt. Gov. Wes Miller’s upcoming BBQ in August.
The event will be held Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 6pm. If you can make it, please contact Joe Dilibert at jdilibert@verizon.net or Don Medley at don.medley@verizon.net so they can get a proper head-count over to the Carpinteria Club. Contact Joe or Don for price-per-person information for this event.
